The College and the University recognize students and faculty for their outstanding achievements. College students may be nominated to receive one of the many recognitions and prizes awarded for outstanding work in the College of Arts and Sciences. In turn, College students may nominate outstanding faculty for teaching awards. These awards are open to all seniors in the College of Arts and Sciences. To be considered for these awards, required materials must be submitted by Friday, March 22, to Grace Kim, The College, Cohen Hall, South 36th Street or emailed to gskim sas. Any type of book, except books required for class, may be included, but there must be a definite objective in the collection that has been consistently pursued in the acquisition. Applicants should submit a list of books with a brief reason for the inclusion of each volume.

Please note that, in addition to the general Policies Governing Submatriculation, there are additional policies specific to the Bio-Dental Submatriculation and the B. Students are encouraged to apply for submatriculation during the fall semester of the junior year, though some programs may accept applications during the spring semester of the sophomore year. Generally, students will not be admitted to the submatriculation program after the end of the seventh semester. Students on financial aid who are considering submatriculation are urged to consult with Student Registration and Financial Services SRFS before applying. Some programs require students to become graduate students after their fourth year in the College, which is likely to mean that their tuition is no longer covered by undergraduate financial aid.
